17 year old Mick Schumacher is on course to ensuring his family name remains at the highest level of motor racing for another generation as he continues his push towards Formula 1.

The talented teen, son of seven time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher, began his career in karting under the pseudonym Mick Betsch back in 2008, and last year he moved into Formula 4, racing with Van Amersfoort. Now, at the start of the racing season, he's driving for the Ferrari-linked Prema team and has competed in two championships, starting with the Italian series in Misano followed by the opening round of the German series at Oschersleben a week later. Commenting on his new team member, Prema team principal Angelo Rosin said that hard-working Schumacher has 'what it takes to aim for the top'.
